Chef Krysann Younge started her culinary journey in 2016 in Houston Texas after dabbling in the medical field. Alongside an AAS in Culinary Arts, from Culinary Institute LeNotre in Houston Texas, she holds a Science & Cooking: From Haute Cuisine to Soft Matter Science (Chemistry) Certificate from Harvard online, as well as an Introduction to Computer Science Certificate.
She gained her experience by working for years across Texas at fine dining restaurants, hotels, mom & pop restaurants, football stadiums, and event companies across the South, catering to hundreds of weddings & corporate events and worked as a celebrity private chef for events for Venus Williams, Vic Mancini and DonMcGill.
She returned to Guyana and opened a restaurant in Bartica in 2021; River View Diner and Bakery, as well as BÍA BÍA Tex-Mex Cuisine food truck on Church Street; which is now a contemporary fusion restaurant located in Bartica.
She’s now venturing into various business endeavors across Guyana.
